About the position
The Speech Language Pathologist at Signature HealthCARE is responsible for providing rehabilitative care to residents and patients, ensuring they achieve full recovery and return to their daily activities. This role is integral to the integrated care model at Signature Rehab, where therapists collaborate with other clinical caregivers to deliver top-notch rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to residents and patients.
- Collaborate with clinical caregivers to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Assess and document patients' progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Educate patients and families on speech and language disorders and treatment options.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding speech therapy services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in speech, hearing science, and language development with a minimum of a master's degree.
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
- Current Clinical Competence Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
