About The Position

TGH Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their PRN (as needed) team. This role is crucial in helping patients recover and improve their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. The SLP will play an important part in maximizing patient potential and contributing to the mission of making communities healthier.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Minimum of twelve months speech therapist / speech language pathologist experience working with an acute or rehab population
• Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of FL
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
