HealthPro Heritage is hiring a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) to join a highly regarded, nonprofit Life Plan Community in Fresno, CA. This is a unique opportunity to work in an upscale Continuing Care Retirement Community offering both Skilled Nursing and Outpatient services — all on one beautiful campus. The community is a stable adult and geriatric caseload with a collaborative interdisciplinary care model. It is a nonprofit Life Plan Community on a beautiful 26-acre low-rise campus with walking paths, gardens, shaded outdoor spaces, and a warm, welcoming, small-town neighborhood feel. The team has a strong clinical reputation and long-tenured members. Requirements

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
  • Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
  • Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans.
  • Educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
