About The Position

LLA Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for their clinic-based services across Northeast Ohio. With over 30 years of pediatric therapy experience, LLA Therapy focuses on helping children shine their brightest through effective communication, ongoing mentoring, collaboration between therapeutic disciplines, and providing professionals with the necessary tools. The SLP will conduct evaluations, design individualized treatment plans, provide therapy, document progress, communicate with families and other professionals, and submit reports.

Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology.
Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio
Valid Driver’s license.
Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language.
Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations on assigned patients.
Design individualized treatment plans and materials to match the patient’s unique learning profile.
Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.
Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment.
Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient’s individualized treatment plans.
Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies).
Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
