About The Position

HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun and growing Early Intervention team in Chambersburg, PA! This role offers flexible scheduling options, including Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities. You can start with a few hours a week and build up to Full-Time. The position provides flexible hourly compensation up to $75/hour, with negotiable rates. Service areas are flexible, aiming to keep visits within a 30-minute drive from the therapist's home in areas like Chambersburg, Mercersburg, Shippensburg, or Waynesboro, PA. You will create your own schedule based on your and your client's availability, with sessions typically lasting 1 hour, including therapy and documentation time on a company-provided laptop. Requirements

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Speech Language Pathologist sessions through the use of current best practices based on services defined in the child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Work with families/caregivers in the child’s natural environment and throughout the community while supporting the families daily routines.
  • Collaborate with other professionals that support the child/family to aid in the achievement of outlined goals.
  • Maintain all documentation of service delivery required by the program. This includes session noted, quarterly progress summaries, and annual IFSP input.
