About The Position
We are partnering with a South Dakota school district seeking a licensed SLP to support special education evaluation and eligibility processes for approximately 25 students. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy assessment, report writing, and collaboration with IEP teams. This is a part-time remote opportunity focusing on evaluations rather than ongoing therapy services.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- An active South Dakota SLP license is required for this position.
- Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- School-based experience preferred
- If you do not currently hold a South Dakota license but are willing to obtain one, we will reimburse approved cross-licensing fees.
Responsibilities
- Review existing student records and educational data
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments as needed
- Prepare evaluation reports and recommendations
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with district staff regarding evaluation findings and service recommendations
- Transition students requiring ongoing speech therapy to district-employed SLPs for direct services
