About the position
As a Speech Language Pathologist at Powerback Rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their communication and swallowing abilities. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing rehabilitation plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring effective delivery of services, and collaborating with peers to enhance patient care. This position emphasizes a patient-centered approach, focusing on restoring and improving speech and communication skills while promoting independence and productivity among patients and caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Help patients communicate and swallow effectively.
- Design and execute rehabilitation plans tailored to individual needs.
- Deliver effective and efficient rehab services.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals for comprehensive patient care.
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field acceptable to ASHA.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.
- Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice.
