About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students within a school setting. The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders that may impact students’ educational performance, social interaction, and overall development. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to supporting student achievement and success.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
  • Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License required
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational environment

Nice To Haves

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments related to speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans and therapy goals for students
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and goal development
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, reports, and therapy notes
  • Monitor student progress and modify intervention strategies as appropriate
  • Educate staff and families regarding communication disorders, treatment methods, and support strategies
  • Support students utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and devices
  • Ensure compliance with all district policies, state regulations, and federal special education requirements
