About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with individuals of all ages, focusing on diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals. The Speech Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for patients through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
  • Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills.
  • Provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, doctors, and occupational therapists to support patient progress.
  • Educate patients and their families about communication disorders and strategies for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders.
  • Proficient in patient assessment techniques and early intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
