About the position
The Specialized Transport Driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial industrial carrier or tractor trailer combination with a GVWR rating exceeding 33,000 lbs. This role requires adherence to company and DOT regulations, performing daily vehicle inspections, and ensuring the safe operation of the truck while providing excellent customer service. The position includes a sign-on bonus for both in-state and out-of-state applicants.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial industrial carrier or tractor trailer combination.
- Report each scheduled day on-time, ready to work, and in uniform.
- Perform daily vehicle inspection and identify any mechanical issues.
- Follow all Company and DOT rules and regulations regarding safe truck operation.
- Inspect all supplied tools to ensure they are in good and safe condition.
- Report any issues that may restrict timely dispatch completion.
- Drive and perform duties via interstate for towing, recovery, and/or transport.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Class A driver's license (CDL) for Heavy Transport Positions.
- At least 22 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Minimum of two years of heavy hauling/commercial driving experience.
Nice-to-haves

- Ability to use GPS and company-issued software.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools.
