About the position

The position is for a specialist IT system administrator in Poland, specifically in Poznań. The role involves managing key systems of transactional banking, automating IT solutions, and ensuring high availability and performance of infrastructure and applications. The work environment is hybrid, with a team led by Natalia Kłosowska, focusing on the latest technologies in a technological company providing banking services.

Responsibilities

  • Administer key central systems of transactional banking.
  • Utilize automation skills for systems and IT solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues related to system availability and performance.
  • Build and maintain standards for infrastructure and applications.

Requirements

  • Initial experience with Linux systems, ability to navigate system layers and create simple scripts.
  • Knowledge of databases, including PostgreSQL and Oracle.
  • Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Openshift, LXC, rkt).
  • Familiarity with messaging and queuing systems such as RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with stream data management tools like Kafka.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Zabbix, Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, or GitLab.
  • Basic programming skills in an object-oriented language (Python/Ruby/Java/JavaScript).
  • Analytical skills.
  • Interest in DevOps technologies, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties.
