About The Position

Richelieu Hardware is seeking a permanent Customs Compliance Specialist for their Ville Saint-Laurent offices. This role reports to the Logistics Director and is responsible for ensuring compliance with customs operations in Canada and the United States. The specialist will act as a resource person for customs compliance and provide support to various teams.

Requirements

Hold a diploma in logistics or a related field.
Have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, AS/400, and knowledge of various databases.
Bilingualism, both written and spoken, in French and English.
Hold a CSS certification.
Have strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. customs regulations.

Responsibilities

Ensure the compliance of import and export operations by following internal processes and U.S. and Canadian regulations.
Take charge of projects, analyze new products, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Create reports, update and optimize compliance procedures.
Act as the resource person for customs compliance and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders.
