About the position

The Finance team provides a broad range of timely, accurate, relevant, and objective financial information, advice, and services to its business partners, with commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards. Operating within the Finance function, the CFO Innovation team seeks to reengineer finance-based processes with automation at the forefront, understanding that these steps are key to driving efficiency and increasing the level of controls in our processes.

Responsibilities

  • Creatively implement new techniques and manage automation projects in partnership with teams across the firm to improve processes and identify solutions that are grounded in thoughtful analytics
  • Collaborate to improve activities such as the month-end close and trader accrual processes
  • Present analytical findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to help guide action plans
  • Leverage your understanding of a broad range of finance processes and systems to propose solutions

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in accounting, corporate finance and/or a relevant field
  • Technical expertise in automation tools such as MS Power Automate and Alteryx, visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, and enterprise systems such as Workday
  • Intellectual curiosity in adopting the latest technological advances such as within the GenAI space and applying them to Finance use cases
  • Ability to build working relationships with colleagues throughout the firm as you work with them to map out end-to-end processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Experience with and ability to manage a series of small- and large-scale automation projects and map out process steps to identify areas for improvement
  • Strong Excel skills and exposure to coding languages such as Python
  • A self-starter who can work independently
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
