About The Position
DSI Security is growing again and is now hiring Unarmed Event Security Officers to support special events on June 18th in the Birmingham Alabama. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, working with the public, and being part of exciting events, this is a great opportunity to join a diverse, inclusive, and people-first security team.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation and communication
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions
- Ability to pass required background and drug screenings
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment at special events
- Provide visible security presence for concerts, sporting events, festivals, and holiday events
- Assist with crowd control, access points, and guest flow
- Observe, report, and respond to safety concerns and suspicious activity
- Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and event-specific post instructions
- Interact professionally with guests, staff, clients, and the public
- Promote safety while delivering excellent customer service
- Participate in required training and follow all safety procedure
