About the position
The Special Education Teacher at Williston Basin School District #7 is responsible for providing educational support and instruction to students with special needs in elementary schools. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive education practices.
- Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license in Special Education for the state of North Dakota.
- Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
