This position is for a Special Education Resource Teacher within the RISE (Reaching Independence through Structured Education) program. RISE is a functional skills and modified curriculum classroom designed for students with mild/moderate disabilities. The role involves collaboration, monitoring, co-teaching, and direct instruction. The teacher will facilitate the academic, social, and emotional growth of students identified as disabled under P.L. 101-476. The position operates on a 10-month/182-day work calendar and is compensated according to the current Teacher Salary Schedule. Performance will be evaluated annually.
