Responsibilities

• Developing rigorous lessons in specific content areas in 1:1 blended learning environments.
• Setting ambitious goals with students and monitoring their progress.
• Tracking student growth and creating student growth plans when needed.
• Building relationships with students and families through regular communication.
• Creating a conducive classroom environment for learning.
• Collaborating with co-planners to enhance lesson plans.
• Meeting deadlines for lesson plans, grades, and work samples.
• Working with a team of teachers to provide support and accountability.
• Conducting weekly tutorials for additional student support.
• Completing supervision duties to ensure student safety.
• Growing professionally through feedback and collaboration.
• Being available for communication with campus leaders, collaborators, students, and parents.
• Providing personal care services as needed.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Texas Educator Certification, or willingness to join ACP to get certified.
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology.
• Ability to instruct students using various technology applications and platforms.
