About the position

The Special Education Provider Coordinator is responsible for identifying and placing qualified therapists and educators to provide special education services for client school districts across Long Island. This role involves maintaining relationships with providers, coordinating case management, and ensuring compliance with educational mandates.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with therapists and educators on special education cases.
  • Coordinate requests between school districts and assigned providers regarding case progress reports and scheduling.
  • Communicate ongoing matters related to case compliance and availability.
  • Perform duties consistent with company standard operating procedures in areas such as new case placement and provider relations.
  • Complete tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Attend and support company events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in Special Education and/or Related Services preferred.
  • Familiarity with reading IEPs.
