About the position

The Financial Statement and Regulatory Reporting Accountant will be responsible for preparing annual and quarterly financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS, advising on regulatory reports, and coordinating the year-end financial statement reporting process. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within a large hedge fund administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Prepare and advise on monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports.
• Coordinate the year-end financial statement reporting process.
• Identify errors or problems and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in an accounting firm, hedge fund, or other financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Previous financial statement preparation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
