About the position

The Spa Manager at Arch Amenities Group is responsible for delivering high-quality spa services by effectively training staff, adhering to protocol standards, managing product inventory, and scheduling staff. The role focuses on enhancing guest experiences, increasing revenue, and controlling expenses while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the "Arch Amenities Group Experience" for members and guests by maintaining established standards.
  • Provides excellent customer service and monitors guest feedback for quality assurance.
  • Hires, coaches, and counsels staff to ensure all policies and standards are met.
  • Monitors staff payroll and attendance accuracy.
  • Creates staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage within budget requirements.
  • Develops training schedules and conducts departmental meetings for effective communication.
  • Prepares incident or accident reports for management review.
  • Supervises daily operations including facility inspections and maintenance.
  • Maintains spa protocols and ensures compliance by all staff members.
  • Communicates effectively with the spa leadership team to ensure quality services.
  • Conducts monthly inventories and explains variances in product usage.
  • Implements proper inventory and purchasing procedures.
  • Supports monthly promotions and membership sales as directed by leadership.
  • Motivates the therapist team to promote additional products and services.
  • Attends events to build awareness of the spa.
  • Maintains accurate equipment maintenance and sanitation procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Hospitality, Exercise Science, Health Education, Business or related field.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in a spa environment.
  • Knowledge of professional spa services and treatments.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and inventory systems.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to work positively with diverse groups.
  • Well-organized, efficient, and able to handle multiple duties simultaneously.
  • Effective leadership skills and strong work ethic.
  • Physical condition to project health and wellness ideals of the spa environment.
  • Ability to think independently and develop programs for specific needs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and practice discernment.
  • Ability to build rapport with members or guests.
  • Excellent customer service skills and work ethic.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational demeanor.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software, including Visual One, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified.
