About the position
The Southeast Regional Director Security Protection at HCA Healthcare is responsible for overseeing Physical Security Operations across all divisions and facilities in the Southeast Region. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive physical security program, managing security staff, and ensuring the safety of colleagues, patients, and assets. The position requires significant travel and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance security measures and compliance across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive physical security program for HCA's Southeast Region.
- Conduct facility risk assessments and drive remediation efforts.
- Manage day-to-day security operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set priorities based on risk and business needs.
- Lead the development of security incident response plans and protocols.
- Foster partnerships with law enforcement and other external agencies.
- Oversee the training and development of security staff across HCA facilities.
- Maintain relationships with Division CFOs, CIOs, and facility CEOs to align security strategies with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a leadership role required.
- 10+ years of experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related fields preferred.
- Applicable physical security certifications preferred.
