About The Position

The Starlink supply chain team is seeking a Sourcing Specialist who has experience setting up and managing relationships with authorized installers in all regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with vendors within the consumer electronics, telecommunications, or technology sectors, and building strategic channel partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of the retail landscape across major electronics retailers, mass merchants, local agents, and potentially specialized regional chains. Success will require systems thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills to synthesize information that shapes future products and strategic direction. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience working in procurement/sourcing, supply chain, or omnichannel sales
  • Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operations
  • Must be willing to travel to other SpaceX offices and customer locations as needed; up to 25%

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with procurement/sourcing, supply chain, or omnichannel sales
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated success in driving partners to achieve growth
  • Experience developing vendors or building sales channels in international markets with proven track record of successfully launching and scaling new products
  • Independently motivated, with a demonstrated track record of project ownership
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude in a professional setting
  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or Power BI

Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and establish partnerships with strategic authorized installers aligned with business needs
  • Successfully negotiate and close partnership deals between SpaceX and installation partners
  • Monitor and assess the service provided by partners and ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations
  • Ensure partner readiness for nationwide coverage
  • Prepare and provide regular reports on customer concerns, weekly take rates, issues, and completed installations
  • Identify opportunities for improving installation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Provide comprehensive training and resources to partners for effective product installation
  • Demonstrate effective ownership with installation partners by identifying and successfully communicating readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, regulatory, business, planning etc.)
