About the position

The DMS Program Director is responsible for leveraging their expertise to develop, maintain, and deliver education services to students thru creating and maintaining core curriculum, ensuring delivery of core curriculum, preparing course plans and material, supervising staff and oversight of the DMS Program. The DMS Program Director will monitor and manage student progress and attendance, student advising, and grade reporting. The DMS PD will also ensure continues compliance with Federal, State, and Institutional accreditation agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver education services to students.
  • Create and maintain core curriculum.
  • Ensure delivery of core curriculum.
  • Prepare course plans and material.
  • Supervise staff and oversee the DMS Program.
  • Monitor and manage student progress and attendance.
  • Provide student advising and grade reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Institutional accreditation agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • ARDMS, OB/ABD Certification or License.
  • RVT is optional.
  • Ability to present a professional image and act as a role model.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Documented experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, student guidance, and educational theories and techniques.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer in the professional sonography field.
