About the position

As a Solution Consultant at JAGGAER, you will act as a functional advisor to clients, translating their business requirements into effective solution configurations. Your role will involve creating functional specifications, managing multiple implementation projects, and ensuring successful deployment and client transition from implementation to support. You will leverage your product and industry knowledge to maximize the value of the solutions provided, while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the client delivery organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the business/functional advisor to the client, translating business requirements into solution needs.
  • Build functional solutions within the Statement of Work (SOW) specifications, meeting all scope, time, and budget requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation using templates and past examples.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve client issues.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned implementation projects.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks, including software issue resolution and project delays.
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with clients, both on-site and remotely.
  • Establish and manage relationships with clients to sustain strong business connections.
  • Ensure a successful client transition from Implementation to Support.
  • Provide guidance for project controls, including budget vs. actual for project hours and revenue attainment.
  • Communicate project information to clients and within JAGGAER.
  • Identify and communicate changes to project scope that impact resources, time, or financial commitments.
  • Provide continual work direction and mentoring to team members.
  • Relay business process recommendations based on client requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of business experience with 1+ years in application implementations or consulting services.
  • 1-3 years of experience with eProcurement, Supply Chain, or Contract Lifecycle Management software applications preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS software solutions or ERPs with systems integration preferred.
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a team environment.
  • Ability to act independently and drive tasks to resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with project management methodologies; Agile preferred.
  • Business automation and workflow process development desirable.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.

  • Experience in a client-facing role in a consulting environment.
