About the position
The Soldering Technician role at Aerotek involves performing assemblies and sub-assemblies of microelectronics under a microscope. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work with extremely small parts, ensuring accuracy and quality in the production process.
Responsibilities
- Perform assemblies and sub-assemblies under a microscope using extremely small parts (microelectronics)
- Start shift by getting to the cell, pulling work orders, and preparing tools and equipment needed for assemblies
- Stationed at a work cell, perform tasks such as soldering, wire stripping, sanding, bonding, etching, stamping, etc.
- Use basic work instructions to complete assemblies
- Perform other production tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Conduct visual inspections of finished assemblies to ensure accuracy
Requirements
- Experience in small part assembly
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings
