Software Engineer

About the position

The position involves designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. The role encompasses all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. The candidate will identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues and take an active role in code reviews to ensure solutions align with pre-defined architectural specifications. Additionally, the candidate will assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows, and participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Digital Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, Information Technology, or related field of study.
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer/Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
• Experience with developing and maintaining robust back-end services using Core Java, J2EE, Hibernate, and Spring MVC.
• Experience designing and implementing user interfaces with Java Server Faces (JSF), Angular, and ReactJS.
• Experience developing and consuming SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Experience integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models into applications.
• Experience using SDL Tridion for web content management.
• Experience contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of multi-lingual websites.
• Experience developing dynamic forms and applications using Form.io.
• Experience developing and maintaining scalable applications across platforms including web, mobile, client-server, and mainframe.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience developing test cases and improving code coverage using JUnit, Jasmine, and Mockito frameworks.
• Experience providing on-call production support.
• Experience utilizing Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
• Experience using performance monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Kibana, and JMeter.
• Experience coordinating with Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, manual and automation Quality Assurance teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
