About the position

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you will be a key member of the Revenue Management Software Engineering team, responsible for designing and delivering technology products that support the Corporate & Investment Bank's Securities Services Pricing and Billing Operations. This role requires a seasoned professional who can execute software solutions, develop high-quality production code, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business objectives in a secure and scalable manner.

Responsibilities

  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Work collaboratively in large, geographically distributed teams to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Strong technical knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft .NET/.NET Core framework and C# coding.
  • Hands-on practical experience with InvestCloud's Advantage Fee Billing software.
  • Experience working with Advantage Fee APIs.
  • Prior experience building interfaces and custom applications to interact with Advantage Fee.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and supporting Billing and Invoicing software in a .NET environment.
  • Prior experience building and maintaining custom schedulers in Java and .NET.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exposure to AWS and Terraform.
