Software Developer - Summer Intern

About the position

RRD is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic & motivated student to join our team this Summer as a Software Developer Intern! This is a hybrid role. The Intern will support manufacturing system applications and work with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements. As a Software Developer Intern, the goal of the internship will be to work through a series of application enhancements as prioritized and assigned by IT team leadership. Working with an existing development team the intern will participate in the full lifecycle delivery of the enhancements, from initial analysis and design through development, to coordinating testing with business owners, documentation and delivery.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Full-time student at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Versed in all phases of software development life cycle.
• Familiarity or exposure to C#.net, VB.net, and SQL is preferred.
• Experience with WPF, WCF, and/or WWF is a plus.
• Strong communication and team skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
• Positive attitude and outstanding customer service orientation.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
