About The Position

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Social Worker for a Team Lead position within the Palliative Care team located at the Edgewood, Kentucky location. This role involves participating in the development of department programs and processes, assisting with staff scheduling, and ensuring the quality of care for patients needing palliative care social work services, all while upholding the philosophy of St. Elizabeth Healthcare. The Team Lead works collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Hospice/Palliative Director, and other supervisors to manage the department’s daily operations. A key aspect of this role is demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all interactions with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues, irrespective of cultural background.

Requirements

Master’s in Social Work (MSW)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Licensed in state where work is being performed.
Knowledge of SW practice in health care setting.
Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Minimum of three years of social work practice in health care.
