Social Worker - Somerset

About the position

The Social Worker will carry out and maintain person-centered quality care for residents to maximize their well being and quality of life. This includes coordinating and planning social and educational programs and interventions to meet their defined needs. The position is full-time and temporary for 6 months with flexibility, offering an hourly rate of $34.00 to $40.00 depending on experience. The working hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• MSW and BSW from an accredited College or University required.
• Certified or licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Social Work Examiners (LSW or CSW).
• Current New Jersey Driver's License.
• Minimum of 3 years of Long Term Care Experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience in a health care setting.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.

Nice-to-haves

• Geriatric experience strongly preferred.
