About the position
The Social Worker (MSW) position at Medica Talent Group involves providing social services to Senior Care Services participants, their families, and caregivers. Responsibilities
- Direct responsibility and oversight for the provision of social services to Senior Care Services participants, family members, and caregivers.
- Provide active leadership for the Social Work team.
- Lead discussions in meetings to advocate for PACE participants and families regarding psycho-social issues and concerns.
Requirements
- Masters' degree in Social Work from an accredited university required.
- Two or more years' experience in case management, social advocacy, and/or mental health with the geriatric population.
- Bilingual: Spanish/English, Chinese/English, or another second language is strongly preferred.
- BLS/First Aid certificate is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Field work/internship may substitute 1 year of experience.
- Experience in geriatrics is preferred.
