About the position

Beyond TalentEdge is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide impactful therapy and support to children and their families in Syracuse, NY. This full-time position involves delivering individual and group therapy, offering clinical consultation, and supervising staff while ensuring quality outcomes and satisfaction for youth and families. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and nontraditional hours, and involves working in various settings such as remote, office-based, and community-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy, including structured and process groups, based on client needs and clinician credentials.
• Provide clinical consultation and training to staff.
• Hire, train, and provide clinical supervision and evaluate ongoing performance.
• Review progress of each youth under supervision of the team.
• Demonstrate ability to diagnose and treat children/youth and families.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with schools, hospitals, other service providers, and law enforcement personnel.
• Ensure quality outcomes and youth and family satisfaction, meeting all funder expectations.
• Availability to work evenings and nontraditional hours.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling with a valid NYS Professional license.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant clinical experience working with youth and families with mental health challenges preferred.
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Creative Arts Therapist.
• Unrestricted, valid NYS driver's license for a minimum of 1 year with a clean driving record and minimum insurance coverage that meets agency standards.
• Ability and willingness to travel to various facilities and programs.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 60 days of hire.
