About the position

The Social Video Producer will be the first hire within the Listings team, responsible for creating and managing social video content that tells the stories of Nasdaq-listed companies during their pre-IPO, IPO day, and post-IPO phases. This role involves collaboration with various teams to produce engaging video narratives that align with both Nasdaq's and clients' brand voices, while also monitoring performance metrics to enhance future content.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the creation of Nasdaq's social video content for the Listings business.
  • Execute social media video storytelling for pre-IPO, IPO day, and post-IPO for newly Nasdaq-listed companies.
  • Attend marketing kick-off meetings and build organic social video plans.
  • Align storytelling video content with the Nasdaq brand and the client's brand voice.
  • Draft video copy optimized for social media platforms and assist in capturing content at live events.
  • Partner with Listings marketing colleagues to create and optimize social clips for campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on social video metrics and KPIs to measure performance.
  • Project manage, edit and finalize social media rollout plans for video content.
  • Maintain relationships with Nasdaq-listed companies for social video proposals.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, fulfilling last-minute requests and prioritizing assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public affairs, journalism, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience building or managing social video for brands or publishers.
  • Savvy user of essential social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Expert with video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and motion applications (After Effects & Audition).
  • Self-starter with the ability to propose innovative strategies and manage initiatives.
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A portfolio of video work is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with internal and/or external agencies and clients.
  • Familiarity with standard design applications.
