About The Position

This position serves as Contract Support Staff within the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The role involves auditing, reviewing, monitoring, and completing reports related to day care clients, providers, and billing. The planner will act as a resource for department staff, private agencies, day care providers, clients, and foster parents concerning day care policies, procedures, and payment regulations. A key responsibility includes maintaining complex information systems for monitoring and service delivery data, and developing assigned reports in a timely manner. The position also entails performing other duties as required or assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the described responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of high school
  • Requires two years of experience in a community serviced by a demonstration project or a similar community experience
  • Requires ability to pass a background check.
  • Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties.
  • Requires appropriate, valid driver's license.

Responsibilities
