About the position

As a Social Media Specialist at Gleim, you will be responsible for designing and implementing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness and support marketing efforts. This role involves creating engaging content across various social platforms, collaborating with the marketing team, and ensuring a consistent brand voice. You will also track performance metrics and refine strategies based on insights gathered from social media analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute advertising campaigns to promote products and events.
• Set clear objectives aligned with established brand voice and tone.
• Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan marketing campaigns.
• Communicate the Gleim brand positively and authentically to attract the target market.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices.
• Generate inbound traffic and convert followers into customers through content development.
• Propose ideas for lead and demand generating content.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing strategist to set engagement and conversion strategies.
• Monitor the efficacy of social media campaigns using tools like Facebook Insights and Google Analytics.
• Report on social media engagement and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work with other departments to ensure social media strategies support overall business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Media Marketing, Digital Media, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a social media role or similar.
• Knowledge of social media best practices.
• Understanding of social media KPIs.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Gainesville, Florida.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in education, aviation, exam prep, or accounting spaces.
• Experience acting as a subject matter expert.
• Experience with video.
