Soccer Shots Instructor
About The Position
We are seeking passionate individuals looking to work with children ages 2-8 years old in an energetic and fun environment. We hold our sessions in park districts, schools, and daycares across Will County through Saturday. We especially need someone with summer and fall availability during the morning on Tuesdays and from 3:00 pm to 7:15 pm on Thursdays. Other hours are also available. We offer flexible scheduling and paid training to ensure we get the best of the best to join our team. Our program is created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and experienced and licensed soccer coaches. Working with children is something we don’t take lightly, and it’s imperative that you not only enjoy working with children but are incredibly passionate about it. We are in this to impact children in such a way that we leave a lasting impression on them that will give them the confidence to be successful both on and off the field. Requirements
- Fall Availability - This is not a summer-only position; you must be available to work in the fall season.
- Consistent Availability - Must be able to work multiple seasons with minimum changes to availability during an 8-week season.

- Clear Background - Must pass a background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have access to the internet daily with phone/computer

Nice To Haves
- Soccer experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time to sessions
- Handle groups of 5-10 children
- Communicate effectively with Soccer Shots leaders
- Maintain a clean appearance
- Be kind and approachable for parents at public sites, and directors/staff at private sites
- Engage and lead young children
- Be comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children
- Complete comprehensive training program to receive certification
- Utilize developmentally appropriate techniques
- Undergo ongoing training
- Positively impact children
