About the position
The Snow Truck Driver at BrightView is responsible for performing all tasks related to snow removal during the winter season. This role involves operating various snow removal equipment and working collaboratively with sidewalk crews to ensure high-quality service. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, as shifts are on-call and can vary in length, often occurring overnight depending on weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks related to snow removal.
- Operate snow, plow and box trucks, ATV plows, snow blowers, snow shovels, and e-pokes (salt spreaders).
- Work with sidewalk crews to efficiently and safely complete assignments.
Requirements
- 3 years of commercial experience using a plow truck or salt truck.
- 3+ years of commercial snow experience using Skid-Steer, Front End Loader, Backhoe, or equivalent vehicles with plows and snow containment boxes.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid and clean driver's license with no restrictions (CDL is NOT required).
- Ability to work well under pressure while observing safety guidelines.
- Dependable transportation to and from work.
- Must attend and pass training and a background check.
- Legally authorized to work in the USA.
