About the position
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible outdoor spaces during winter months, ensuring that driveways, sidewalks, and other areas are clear of snow and ice.
Responsibilities
- Clear snow from driveways, sidewalks, and other designated areas using shovels and snow removal equipment.
- Ensure safe passage for pedestrians and vehicles by effectively removing snow and ice.
- Assist with tree trimming and tree care as needed during off-season periods.
- Perform lawn care tasks, including irrigation and maintenance of garden areas when applicable.
- Utilize power tools for landscape maintenance, ensuring all equipment is operated safely and effectively.
- Engage in hardscape projects, which may include digging and maintaining pathways or patios.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in snow removal or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with tree trimming, lawn care, gardening, and irrigation practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads as necessary.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the winter season.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
