About The Position

The Management Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled, results-driven Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of multiple small communities in the Portland area. This role may be based out of either our Vancouver, WA or downtown Portland office locations. Requirements

  • At least three years of multisite property management experience

Responsibilities

  • Set competitive rental rates, deposits, and fees, and lead marketing efforts to drive occupancy and revenue growth across multiple properties.
  • Prepare and review rental agreements, renewals, and ensure timely collection of rents, deposits, and fees.
  • Direct property maintenance and upkeep, manage budgets, and coordinate property improvements and reconditioning projects.
  • Ensure smooth turnover processes by managing unit vacancies, deposit returns, and chargebacks, while monitoring timeliness of unit turnover.
  • Oversee contracts for security, maintenance, groundskeeping, and other services to ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Provide owners with regular updates on occupancy, property condition, and financial performance; prepare reports on key metrics including occupancy rates, lease expirations, and financials.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant property managers, providing direction and support to ensure excellence in property operations.
  • Manage eviction processes in compliance with legal requirements, working closely with attorneys and owners as needed.
