About the position
CoreMedical Group is seeking two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for travel assignments in elementary schools located in the San Antonio, Texas area. This role involves providing essential speech and language services to students, ensuring their communication needs are met in an educational setting. As a travel allied professional, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations while enjoying competitive benefits and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language assessments and interventions for students in elementary schools.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
- Educate staff and parents on speech and language development and strategies to support students.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with teletherapy or remote service delivery.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
