About the position

The UX/UI Designer at Slalom, LLC will play a crucial role in delivering and implementing the company's broader goals by conducting user research, engaging with stakeholders, and creating design blueprints. This position is project-based and requires collaboration with technical teams to ensure the feasibility of design concepts while refining them based on usability testing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct user research studies to gather user insights.
• Participate in stakeholder interviews and synthesize learnings.
• Engage in kickoff workshops to align on project scope and desired outcomes.
• Co-create service design blueprints for current and future states.
• Develop user flows for prioritized use cases.
• Create low-fidelity wireframes to visualize design concepts and gather feedback.
• Partner with technical teams to ideate and validate design concepts.
• Conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate design effectiveness and usability.
• Refine designs based on feedback from usability testing.

Requirements

• Strong research skills with a proven track record of conducting user research studies.
• Experience in conducting stakeholder interviews and synthesizing learnings.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and contribute to project alignment.
• Expertise in creating service design blueprints for current and future states.
