About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and heavy equipment operation, with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role involves hands-on work at construction sites, requiring both physical stamina and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid-steers, and dozers to assist in construction tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and have an overall understanding of the job site.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Follow project specifications and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly excavator(s).
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are a plus.
