About the position

The Skidder & Mill Assistant position at NRP Jones LLC involves supporting the production process by performing various tasks related to rubber handling and quality assurance. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform all computer input required for the position.
• Remove rubber from the cooling belt and stack it on the skid.
• Separate each batch of rubber with a cloth liner.
• Place a Compound Traveler Ticket on each skid.
• Weigh each skid and move it to the appropriate storage area.
• Demonstrate knowledge of how and where to locate procedures and forms relevant to the position.
• Meet the Quality Job Rate during training, as determined by the Department Supervisor.
• Read, understand, and follow instructions accurately.
• Utilize basic math abilities for accurate weighing and recording.
• Operate a forklift and pass the required test.
• Understand and adhere to the NRP's Quality Manual and specified job responsibilities and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Complete company onboarding process.
• Successful completion of safety training programs.
• Understanding of the company's Quality System and processes.
