The Site Superintendent/SSHO is responsible for coordinating and supervising all construction activities. This role involves directing field personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and with high-quality workmanship that meets original plans and specifications. The position requires building and maintaining construction schedules, identifying and solving problems, ordering materials, and scheduling necessary inspections. The Site Superintendent/SSHO will also act as a technical professional for the estimating team, lead project teams in planning and execution, and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees. A strong emphasis is placed on promoting job site safety, ensuring adherence to safety policies, and maintaining an organized and clean job site. This role involves coordinating with Quality Control and Health and Safety representatives, minimizing company exposure and project risks, and supervising subcontractor and vendor procurement. Additionally, the role includes preparing field reports, managing quantity tracking, and performing constructability reviews. Collaboration on project schedules and extensive travel to project sites (75% of the time) are also key aspects of this position. Other duties as assigned.
