About the position

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Q2 will be responsible for establishing a robust infrastructure for a new product line, ensuring compliance with best practices and security standards. This role involves collaborating with architecture teams, contributing to Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using CDK with Typescript, and creating CI/CD pipelines to support scalable and secure operations.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate with the team building a new product line leveraging LLMs.
  • Support the definition of architecture that is SOC2 compliant and scalable.
  • Contribute to IAC code using CDK with Typescript.
  • Create build and deployment pipelines in a full CI/CD paradigm.
  • Interface with Cloud Architecture teams to evolve infrastructure with market needs.
  • Maintain standards for secure and highly available infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in related fields; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with a public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, TeamCity, Jenkins, Azure-Devops).
  • Proficiency in programming languages (C#, Java, Python, Typescript) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Powershell).
  • Empathy for end users and a focus on customer value and technical quality.
  • Strong preference for automating repetitive manual tasks.
  • 2+ years experience in a DevOps, Platform, or SRE role.
  • 2+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code technology (Terraform or similar).
  • 2+ years experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technology.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and dashboard technologies.
  • Experience leading cross-team projects and mentoring other engineers.
