About the position
The Security Site Manager is responsible for overseeing security operations in the Minneapolis area, ensuring effective management of security personnel and compliance with operational standards. This role involves administrative and technical supervision, resource planning, and collaboration with various stakeholders including law enforcement and airport authorities.
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee security operations through subordinate supervisors.
- Evaluate program supervisors to ensure mission accomplishment and compliance with policies.
- Plan and organize efficient use of resources and employee work schedules.
- Perform administrative and technical supervision including assigning work and approving leave.
- Assess employee performance and handle complaints and disciplinary actions.
- Identify training and developmental needs for staff.
- Develop and manage budgets and program segments.
- Make decisions on work problems and personnel actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in security administration, Public Administration, or related fields.
- Five years of progressively responsible security experience in law enforcement, military, or security professions.
- Experience within the airport industry.
- Security supervisory experience is required.
- Possession of a valid State driver's license.
Nice-to-haves
- AAAE ACE certification or willingness to obtain within the first year.
