About the position
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift within warehouse operations, focusing on loading, unloading, and managing products and materials. This position is part of a growing company that emphasizes a high-performance culture and offers opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using a forklift.
- Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments.
- Inspect each pallet and or case for proper quantities, items brands, and lot codes.
- Perform other related job duties as required, within the scope of training and expertise.
Requirements
- Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail for inspecting products and materials.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Certification for operating a forklift.
