The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a SIBG Supply Planner, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Maintain and optimize supply planning parameters that align with customer and business requirements for service and inventory Working closely with the manufacturing team and value stream leadership to determine how best to resolve supply constraints to balance service, inventory, and cost in the best interest of the supply chain as a whole Managing the review process and modifying requirements to the source of supply (including purchased finished goods and/or outsourced manufacturing) Managing exceptions (materials, orders) throughout the US regional distribution network Collaborate on any issues related to the demand plans for portfolio management, new product introductions and product phase in/phase out activities Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or possesses a bachelor's degree or higher in in Supply Chain or Operations from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) months of working experience including internships or co-op assignments in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, Customer Service and/or Marketing
  • Experience in MRP, material planning and scheduling, inventory control and/or supply chain management
  • Knowledge within Demand Planning (DP) and/or Production Planning (PP) functions.
  • SAP Experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills

Responsibilities
