About The Position

Accurate Marine Environmental, LLC. is seeking motivated, safety-focused individuals to join their growing Gas Free team supporting U.S. Navy, commercial, and industrial marine operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in shipyards, marine operations, industrial services, environmental services, construction, mechanical trades, or other physically demanding work environments who are looking to build a long-term career with opportunities for growth and advancement. Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and attendance
  • Real ID-compliant driver's license or state issued ID required
  • Ability to obtain security and access credentials, including DBIDS, TWIC, and other shipyard badges
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to undergo respirator fit testing
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing, lifting, bending, kneeling, crawling, and prolonged standing
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, nights, and shift work as required

Responsibilities

  • Perform and support tank cleaning operations
  • Assist with pumping and transfer operations
  • Perform engine room cleaning and environmental services
  • Support confined space entry operations
  • Assist with opening, cleaning, and closing tanks and other shipboard spaces
  • Participate in emergency response and environmental support activities as needed
  • Assist with equipment setup, staging, and breakdown
  • Route and connect hoses, pumps, and ventilation equipment
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify operational concerns
  • Support troubleshooting and operational adjustments as needed
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Comply with confined space entry requirements and operational safety standards
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, and near misses
  • Participate in safety meetings, training, and job briefings
  • Work effectively as part of a crew in fast-paced industrial environments
  • Follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and reliability
  • Participate in training and skill development opportunities
  • Support operational goals and contribute to a positive team environment
