Responsibilities
- Data Entry
- Maintain and organize corrugated inventory.
- Transport corrugate to the Finishing Dept. as needed.
- Return excess corrugate back into inventory.
- Unload raw material from suppliers, including sheeted stock, paperboard rolls, and corrugated.
- Transport finished loads to the warehouse.
- Transport paperboard from the warehouse to production.
- Band and prepare flat pack loads for shipment.
- Load trailers for shipment.
- Place finished goods into inventory.
- Remove finished goods from inventory.
- Ability to follow/interpret written and verbal instructions and schedules.
- Participate in any tasks necessary to allow for continuous operation of the process.
- Capable of lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
- Operate all types of industrial trucks including: clamp, lift and hand trucks.
- Follow all Plant Safety and Food Safety rules.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor the level of quality in the products being produced.
- Comply with the Consolidated Standards for Inspection - Food Contact Manufacturing Facilities following SQF Guidelines.
- Collect Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data as required.
- Participate in Continuous Process Improvement Activities as required.
Requirements
- This position requires the Associate to maintain an Industrial Truck Driving Permit.
- Basic math, reading and writing skills are required to perform this job.
