Responsibilities

  • Data Entry
  • Maintain and organize corrugated inventory.
  • Transport corrugate to the Finishing Dept. as needed.
  • Return excess corrugate back into inventory.
  • Unload raw material from suppliers, including sheeted stock, paperboard rolls, and corrugated.
  • Transport finished loads to the warehouse.
  • Transport paperboard from the warehouse to production.
  • Band and prepare flat pack loads for shipment.
  • Load trailers for shipment.
  • Place finished goods into inventory.
  • Remove finished goods from inventory.
  • Ability to follow/interpret written and verbal instructions and schedules.
  • Participate in any tasks necessary to allow for continuous operation of the process.
  • Capable of lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Operate all types of industrial trucks including: clamp, lift and hand trucks.
  • Follow all Plant Safety and Food Safety rules.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor the level of quality in the products being produced.
  • Comply with the Consolidated Standards for Inspection - Food Contact Manufacturing Facilities following SQF Guidelines.
  • Collect Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data as required.
  • Participate in Continuous Process Improvement Activities as required.

Requirements

  • This position requires the Associate to maintain an Industrial Truck Driving Permit.
  • Basic math, reading and writing skills are required to perform this job.
